Brief Note	" Schoone Blauwe " was one of the so called "Three Musketeers" the other two being " Dikke Blauwe" NL36-37251 and "Fietsvlieger" NL36-37252 all bred before the war from "Blauwe Ost-Roe" Belg34-621537 and "Oude Reyduvin" NL-3-28-c-1253. The "Three Musketeers" were seized together with their sire "Blauwe Ost-Roe" and formed the foundation of the Steenbergen Wehrmachtshok. "Dikke Blauwe" died during the war but "Schoone Blauwe" was one of the pigeons returned to Aarden when the occupation ended. "Fietsvlieger" also returned to the Aarden loft in 1946 under his own power.
